Welcome to the Creation Discovery Project

Here you will find resources for various aspects of exploring the support of science for the Bible, and the Bible for science.

We include many scientific evidences that confirm what the Bible says is true, and many Scriptural statements that even today we have not discovered the full extent of the Biblical statements about our world.

Purpose: The organization is established to relate to lay-people and others the Holy Scriptures of the Judaeo-Christian faiths to science, technology and social science. The nature of this is three-fold.

    Encouragement in the Judaeo-Christian beliefs of the Bible, consisting of the Hebrew Scriptures and the Christian New Covenant, establishing the principle that Holy Scripture is in agreement with, and not in discord with, true science, technology and social science.
    To teach the principles of science, technology and social science, and how they relate to the Bible as described, wherever the interest arises.
    To encourage scientific, historical and religious research into the areas promoting the agreement of the Holy Scriptures with science, technology and social science.

Mission Statement of the Creation Discovery Project

The Mission Statement is based on Matthew 28:19-20:
"Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

In order to facilitate this the Creation Discovery Project will teach people the tenets of the Christian faith based on Scripture, specifically the Creation of a perfect world, man and woman, the fall of those perfect people, and the subsequent redemption plan. Many people are not open to hearing directly from Scripture since they feel that ‘science' and particularly ‘evolution' has proved the Bible to be fallible. We at the Creation Discovery Project will show that true science is in line with Christian Scripture, and not in line with evolution. We will show that to become a Christian does not require the abandonment of your intelligence, but the strengthening of it. Further we will strengthen the faith of those who are already Christians, and need to reply to the charge that Science does not support the Creation account described in Scripture.

About Us

The Creation Discovery Project was formed in October of 1994. The function was as an advisory board set up of godly people who supported the beliefs about recent creation  who could advise and assist speakers on the subject, and propose and help other activities in support of spreading information about Creation Science. As such a chairman was to lead the board. Since this was never intended to be a society the leader would not be a president, nor would there be annual elections, since there were no members to elect people. The board assembled and elected me, David Harris, as the chairman. During the following years many speaking engagements in person and on television and radio were held, as well as three science fairs for children in public, private and home schools. These were covered on radio from WDCX in Buffalo New York, who came out as an 'on location' function.

As of 2000 May 15th the following were Directors in good standing with the Creation Discovery Project:

Of these four were registered as board members who could directly work with the registration details with the Ontario government, David Harris, Bill Harris, John Radford and Paul Vaughan.

Rev Dr Paul Vaughan, CPC, was a director of Creation Discovery Project since shortly after the inception of the organization. Due to diabetes complications he passed into the arms of our Lord and Saviour in October 2000, but the work and strength that he provided to the organization will continue. He is sadly missed, but we rejoice that he is now with his bride, Margaret, in Glory.
 

From 2003 onwards due to family life difficulties the organisation ceased external activities and therefore the need for the advisory board also ceased. However the Creation Discovery Project continued to host various contributed articles on the web site, and to respond to enquiries. During the time from this cessation Rev Bill Harris joined Paul Vaughan in Glory in November 2009.
